Audrey Hepburn (May 4, 1929 in Ixelles, Belgium, died. January 20, 1993 in Tolochenaz, Switzerland). Actress and humanitarian activist, Anglo-Dutch origin. She was the daughter of a British banker and a Dutch aristocrat descended. During World War II, lived in occupied Holland. Because of the brutal German occupation, Hepburn, like most Dutch people, suffering from hunger - especially since 1944 (seriously ill, her mother, exchanged cigarettes to penicillin). In that time she was very malnourished which resulted in the emergence of many health problems, had a significant impact on her later life.
