Queen, with lead singer Freddie Mercury, was one of the great 'Glam-Rock' bands of the 1970s. Their stage concerts were full of amazing special effects. In 1977 they released their album 'News of the World' which included the hit song 'We are the champions'. It became an instant classic and is often played and sung at international football matches. Queen broke up in 1991 when Frieddie Mercury died, but many of their songs have become classics.
