Book or movie?

Do you like reading? I do and I'm especially delighted with Mario Puzo's works. After reading "The Godfather" I decided to check other books of this author. I've already finished reading " Six Graves to Munich" and now I want to buy "Fools die". I hope that it will be as good as the masterpieces which I read earlier. Have you ever read Puzo's books? If yes maybe you should recommend me some of them? :) If no, I really want to recommend you his works. There are some books on my shelves that I bought when I was young. My favourite one was "The Princess Diaries" but later "Harry Potter" appears and it was really hard to find something better than this book about magic world. And I have to said that I'm one of those people who prefers book to movie. Why? I think that is better when we can imagine all those things, people and places which are described by author. What do you think about it?

I also prefer books rather than movies. As you wrote imagination gives better view than any movie. Most movies I watch after first reading a book dissapoint me. I began my reading adventure with Harry Potter. I entered into the other, sometimes better world. When I was young I especially fell in love with "Jeżycjada" M. Musierowicz. I've never red Puzo. What kind of books does he write?

"The Godfather" is about five New York Mafia families. Drug dealer is looking for Mafia Families to offer him protection in exchange for a profit of the drug money. Don Vito (the head od Corleone family) is morally against the use of drugs and he disagree to protect dealer. Then other families attack him. Michael Corleone (Vito's youngest son) join to war between Mafia families even if earlier he just want to live a normal life.
"Six Graves to Munich" is rather short book that tells a story of very intelligent man who was tortured by Gestapo officers who need to discover a secret. A few years later he wants to reavange and decided to kill those seven officers who probably killed his pregnant wife. The best thing is the officers think that main character is dead.
I've never read that kind of books before and honestly speaking when I read reviews of them I thought that they must be boring, but I was strongly recommended to read them. Now I'm wondering why I hadn't done it earlier?

Yes, I like reading a books, but in this year I don't have time, because I had to prepare for school leaving exam, so I didn't even have time to read obligatory books, but all catch up soon :)Defnitely, I will start to book you recommend. And I prefer books than movie, of course
