Second week of the new job

Café
International staff:
2 Polish [including me],
2 English,
1 Latvian,
1 Ukrainian,
1 Afghan,
1 Romanian,
3 Turkish,
1 Iraqi.
It’s nice to have a team consisting of people who belong to different nations. There are so many things that you can get to know. Their cultures, their lifestyles, plenty of such things. You are able to listen each guy’s stories with interest. It’s astonishing how their ordinary lives differ from the Polish ones. If you take a sit and start to listen what happens in another country, you will really find relief about the fact that you were born in Poland. Some lives’ descriptions are similar to Polish but there are also such that I found them blood-curdling. Nobody tells me that sleeping with gun hiding beneath a pillow is a common matter on our Polish land. While my friend was relating to me one of these hair-raising stories without any greater emotions, I was listening to him with my bulging eyes. It’s incredible how much people can learn about each other and the world just by speaking with themselves. I expect to get more news and share with my own life stories too because this is the one of the best ways thanks to which you can discover the world.
P.S. Today the first staff’s party has passed by :)
