Terrible gig or just dislike?

Last Friday I was with my friends on Wawa2010.pl gig. It was made by Karolina Cicha and her guests like Jurij Andruchowycz, Tomasz Budzyński, Olaf Deriglasoff, Czesław Mozil, Tymon Tymański. It was terrible. Main idea for this live act was singing well known songs about Warsaw to music arranged by Cicha. You must know that this girl shouldn’t arrange music.
Some of the songs were quite fine but most of them were done with poor quality. I’ve heard that she ended music school, probably it was primary music school. On Friday she was playing with two instruments. She had bad position of hands on the accordion and her both hands played the same things on the piano. I can only say that she has a nice voice but not for all songs. She spend too much time on moaing. Cicha had great guests but most of them were shout down by her.
Next thing is organisation of this gig. As I think, it was made by public money because it was free for the audience. Four days before Cicha’s album had premiere and you’ll find on it the same material, so the gig gave it a free promotion. You could buy CD’s on it and you could count on big amount of listeners. This free gig was made in Warsaw Uprising Museum two days before Uprising anniversary.
What I think about it? Cicha isn’t known be she want to. She invited great guests that were singing with her well know songs. Some of them were made by popular artist like T.Love or Agnieszka Osiecka, some were from Second World War period. People know them and like them. These elements with public money, free gig in well know place and few days before important anniversary had to help Cicha to stand out. Also I saw on public TV fragments of this live set. I don’t think this gig could be done only with Warsaw Uprising Musem initiative. Program was done unprofessionally. Songs were mixed from different decades and only some of them were connected with historic events. And Cicha… she was everywhere.
It’s not that I’m against Cicha. I simply don’t like her music and this model of promotion is annoying for me. But on the other hand… maybe she isn’t so bad?
This song sound much better one Youtube than gig:
