Where did you pick up that excellent English?

I would like to pass CAE in the future. I would like to hear one day "Where did you pick up that excellent English?" and I'd like to answer: "I've done it by myself. I've worked hard and I'm proud of my English".
Yea, but they are my wishes only.
Comments ciuniu Don`t think about CAE certificate in that way it isn`t as hard to pass as it seems believe me. If you reach the level of 6 thousand english words you will pass I`m 100% sure of it. If I were you I would go abroad and tried to communicate with native speakers to improve rest of the skills such as speaking and listening first. That`s what I did and succeed ;D k-sl Thanks shy18 I heard it is not so difficult to pass CAE. Motivation is a key. Remember. ciuniu Yeah, you`re right motivation is the most important, especially when you have such a great amount of new words to lern (by heart in my case) but I don`t recommend this method of learning. I`ve forgotten most of them after some time because I don`t have to use them all in everyday life. I remember that during production stage I mean conversation with examiner you had to draw lots with topics inside and then prepare about 15-20 min speach about GMF(Genetically Modified Food) in my case and topic of my composition was " Technology will replace humans in near future. Do you agree? " My advice is to be confident with big smile on your face that examiner doesn`t notice you are scared/stressed and remember don`t let examiner win. Kill them all :D Add comment
