Are you proud that you are Pole???

Hi. Today I want to write sth about patriotism. Are you proud that you are Pole? Cause I am. I thing Poland are very beautiful. Maybe our roads are not very good, our politicians are usually argue and our trains are always late. But look at the positive things!

We've got beautiful place: mountains, seaside and many nice cities: Cracow, Warsaw, Poznan, Gdans etc. I love polish food (ruthenian pierogi, bigos). Many famous great people were Poles (Maria Curie-Sklodowska, Kopernik, John Paul II, Piłsudski). We have got great sportsmen- Adam Małysz, Justyna Kowalczyk, Tomasz Gollob... And the last thing: we've got long, important history. I thing we should remember about these things and be proud that we are the Polish.

You're completely right - Poland is really beautiful. I love for ex. Mazury - lakes, small harbours hidden in green forests... Mazury are definetly the best! ;)
And I agree that we should be proud of that, what we have - bacause we have a lot!

A lot of people only can talk about bad things like politics or our roads, but thet don't respect our history.

I am very proud of my nationality and of my homeland. And i think the history is the most important thing within that. There is no many nations whose could be equally proud due to their fathers and grands patriotical deeds, their combating for freedom, defend of nationality, language, culture, religion and all that things - just for freedom and independence. I used to be a maniac of historical stuff, it's our beautiful page of ouridentity! I would like to encourage everybody to learn history, read about all these crucial events and discover that page I mentioned about.
