Hooligans

Recently I've watched a good film by Lexi Alexander called 'Hooligans'. It's about english fans whose main activity is fihgt. This situacions are also very popular in Poland. In early January was a fight with 300 people near to Łodz! One young man died. What is the meaning of these fihts? No fun in every day life? Few experience? Maybe reputation? In my opinion it's stupid but maybe for others it makes sense.. And what do you think about it?

I totally agree with you - 'Hooligans' is very good film!
I don't know I never think about sens of fighting between fans two groups. On first sight it's stupid activity for guys which have no more interesting activities.

Actually there were about 150 hooligans as the police finally said. It seems to be very idiotical and weird for us, but for these people fighting each other is very important thing, and it'a just a part of this whole "philosophy" of being a hooligan. There isn't just kinda sport activity for them! They hate each other very trully! It's a serious thing, for some them it's a question of life and death, it's a question of honour! Though it's difficult to understand anyway...
By the way - the film is ok :)
