On the turn of the July and the September we can observe fallings stars when the sky is clear. It's meteors, wrongly but better, named 'fallings stars'. The name is result of this phenomenon. Meteor falls into atmosphere and burns in upper stratum of atmosphere. And when it burns, it leaves behind itselves shiny mark. The most visible meteor shower are the Perseids which pick on 12 August this year (it's similar to last years, maybe you've remembered). But the most activity will be from 14 to 16.30 pm. so in Poland it's disadventageous time for us. But we can observe the sky in the night on 12 August, of course. And I'm mentioning about it now because the Perseids are visible on our sky from 17 July to 24 September (date isn't so strict), so look into the sky, it will be a month of dreams ;)
