Have you heard about one of Oxford professor's idea? He suggests, however it says, 'creating' ethical children. The scientists know human genotype more and more. You know, this gene is responsible for stress and another one for studing.. so much exemples, nearly there's one born every minute. The scientists have been doing great job anyway, they discovered a few genes responsible for cancer, it gives hope for great results, although I think it's not so simple, it's not about just one, special gene, it must be totality. I've read that people discovered that it's possible to 'turn off' gene resposible for cancer of liv, of course there were reseachers on mice only. Anyway, but this idea.. I'm not sure, I can say I'm against probably. I wrote 'probably' because in the other hand, as if it's going about inborn disorders, diseases, this matter is getting more complex. Because, being such a doctor in the future, how should I explain to parents of unborn child yet that their child will be incurable ill and of course, there are a few methods or even just one but we can't, it's not ethical? I've read lately interview with some scientist who says that if we can correct the nature, we definetely should and resign of it would be wrong. So, let's imagine or suppose it could be possible but what's with quite different cases? I mean situation when people would want create a child with specific package of genes like this guy? It would be benefit for society, people would be more intelligent and so on for exemple, someone says but it's going in wrong direction. It isn't lack of maniacs in the whole world, let's imagine world with more people similar to Anders Breivik for exemple .. It's just theoretical thinking but I think bound between improvement of nature and killing diversity or creating ideal people would be very thin.
