Real murder on hallowe'en party?

I almost finished reading my second English book and I must admit that reading in original English is much better than in Polish. This book I'm finishing now is "Hallowe'en party". By Agatha Christie of course. The book start during the prepararions for hallowe'en party. The girl about thirteen - Joyce- stubbornly claims that she saw a murder once. But nobody would believe a girl with a reputation for lying.
And yet the same evening Joyce is found drowned in a bucket of bobbing apples. But who among the guests would turn a child's game into a brutal murder? There were present only few Joyce's friends, mothers, the vicar and a local schoolteacher. Hercule Poirot have to use his "little, grey cells" again.

I have a little question ? How can we say "wciagajaca" in English?

I know, I think it's good word, but I'm not sure: it will be "absorbing". And now I have a question: how did you get a book in English? Is it in library or I must buy it?

to izuskkaa: I buy books in English on allegro but in good bookshop or in library may be,too.
